d2mini's Epic Fantabulous New Reef Build

Damn that's gorgeous!!! I really need to stop spending money and save some so I can buy cool stuff from TBS! Absolutely stunning

Hey Dennis, how do you keep your glass coraline algae and algae-free? I have such issues keeping my glass clean and yours looks perfect!

The back wall is shaded due to the coast to coast overflow, but as you can see the overflow is getting covered. Starting to get a few dots of coralline on the back wall though. The front and side i just clean with the magnet every few days. Coralline doesn't have a chance to start.

Looks marvelous! Question though.. How are your zoanthids and euphyllias in such huge colonies after only 6 months?! Did you buy them in large colonies?

Brit, some of my coral came from the old cube, including the large zoa colonies and giant frogspawn. They have grown pretty well in this tank but started off big. :)
The big ball of Galaxea on the right, too.

Ahh I see! That makes sense. I figured some coral Prlly came from your cube :) all the gorgs look awesome!!

New tank mate, as of 30 minutes ago... male spotted mandarin. :)

Beautiful! I've always wanted a mandarin, but I've always been afraid it would starve to death. Where did you get it from?

Thanks!

I got him locally from 3CC (Third Coast Corals).

I've got pods crawling all over my glass so I figured it was time. ;)
