Here's another shot... my clam. One of the survivors from my old cube tank.

This is one week of skimming with the Vectra neck cleaner on my Alpha 250.
I did a deep clean of the skimmer before installing the neck cleaner.
This week the skimmer produced an almost black colored skim in the cup. Cup is 10" across and I had about 1.5" of skim. I was going to measure the volume but forgot.
What I'm pointing at in the pic with my finger is a completely dry and clean interior! All nasty stuff is on the outside of the neck, in the cup... and on the wiper blade.

Yeah, i'd say it's a luxury item, but it's much better than cleaning the skimmer cup daily... which is never gonna happen anyway! ;)
