Brittany's teeny tiny reef!

My fridge is in serious need of a new filter lol the little light keeps coming on and I just forget about it. That is a good used though. It would take forever to have enough water and it would be cold. :( I did enjoy today very much! You guys are so awesome!

I didn't have time before work to snap a picture of the new little guy. I just checked on him when I got home from work. Figured I'd try to feed him some frozen and he was hungry! I didn't get a pic but heres a little video. This is the first time I've seen him come out also. He is so adorable, I love him! Sorry in advance for the background noise. Cody was watching rambo lol his favorite movie.

Yea I saw your comment on YouTube :) he is camera shy, that was the first time I actually got to see him in the tank bc I was at work all day. Rambo was on lol it was in the very beginning where rambo was in jail busting up rocks lol

Dont kill me you guys but my hubby saw a green spotted mandarin. Had the lfs girl feed it frozen food and it ate it up and the fish has been there a month. So he bought it! Looks like I'm going to convert that aqua clear into a fuge. But its great that he eats frozen. He already named him Oliver. I also just picked up four gallons of distilled water for a water change.

:O im converting my aquaclear into a fuge to now, i have one but its not working like i think an aquaclear would, better flow, carries pods out better. feed him twice a day. it will help remind him he eats frozen lol

Welcome to the wonderful world of green mandarin owners. :D hopefully yours has an appetite like mine. They are gorgeous.

Yea the manager at my lfs said he has eaten frozen since he's been there. And we physically saw him eat it too. I just got done mixing up the ro water for the water change but the water is cold so ill have to let it warm up a bit before the water change.

Introducing Oliver!

Washburn I think yours is just the normal green mandarin. I personally like those better but my hubby likes the spotted ones and he's been wanting one for a yr now. Lol its nice to see him actually staring at the tank instead of me!

Great looking Mandarin. And he's in your 10g, huh. Gives me something to think about once mines up and running.
