Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

Here is a picture of how I have the fans set up. Again, they each cost about $6 or $7 from Walmart and managed to drop the temp in my tank by almost 10 degrees.

Oh, and this is what I came home to tonight:

Yes, those are all little air bubbles from cyano. Nothing I can do but wait it out, it's to be expected after setting up a new tank.

I still have 200 lbs of live rock sitting in a trash can though, that's what's really holding me up! I'm getting sick of waiting for it to be cured, I want to start aquascaping and building the inside of my tank!

Waiting on rock to cure sucks dont it?
At least when I cured mine,I could cure it in the tank.Still smelled like :pooh: though.

BTW
Heres another little redneck reefer tip for ya Biff.
Its easier to cure rock in the bath tub. That way when you change the water on the rock, all you got to do is pull the stopper.:^:

Dory is still in my tank. I am off to buy some live rock from a local reefer tomorrow morning and I'll stop by Bass Pro Shop on the way home to get a couple flys.

Pics of the action? You bet!! I may even get out my little ice fishin' rod, just for giggles.

I made a math error and finally realized that I now have 61lbs of rock in my 30g DT. I'm going to get about 10 or 20 pounds tomorrow and then I'm calling it done for now.
