Picked up a couple of lights today.Just not sure their the lights I want.

Looks to be a multitap M59 magnetic I think. They are good as far as magnetics are concerned.

That's a standard M59 magnetic ballast. That will work fine if you decide to use them. When I was setting up my tank, I asked Sanjay what he suggest I use. He told me 3x175 is plenty for a 125 so that's what I use.
If you decide to use the 400's, keep in mind you will need to run a chiller. Sanjay runs 400's with a chiller on his personal 500g reef in his house and also on the 500g reef tank in the student center HUB bldg on the main campus of PSU. He uses Geisemann Megachrome Marine 13k bulbs.
Here's a little run down on some of the 400w bulbs Sanjay tested.

The heat issues are whats getting with those 400 watters.I'm already running out of room without a chiller,and I still go to hook up my calcium reactor.
I'm thinking I may try to trade them for a couple of 250 watters at the store.
