Im a nerd too! I may be flashy Joe cool on the outside(yeah freaking right Im the fat guy now!) but Im a vampire loving sci-fi nerd on the inside!

yeah but do you end your day with 10 new bruises and snort when you laugh, chuckle, breathe? haha.....thats the real question. i swear, im embarrassing...i got lucky with alexander

i like vampire stuff too but not in the usual way. i like the twilight books...yes you can make fun of me. the movie was awful awful awful but i like the books. haha

I have almost all of Anne Rices Vampire Chronicles and the Witches of Mayfair series. Flo you should give those a whirl! Start with them in chronological order or you'll be lost. Great great books! When I was in the Army I would read one cover to cover every Saturday about 16 hours of straight reading to kill a day!

you sound like me...i plowed through all four books in the twilight series in a week...and thats while working haha. i will give them a try. everyone says that, i guess i need to

Seems to me,like were not that much different after all.Except I like to read westerns and early american history(like Sam Bridger,Louis and Clark). At one time,I had all the Louis Lamare books, and think I still have the entire Sackett collection some where.

sorry for the random question, i just noticed you work a lot of holidays and was hoping you got to hang with your fam on this one. lol...im a nerd

Dont fret the questions Flo.Thats what makes this site different.More of a personal, friendly feel to it.Were all friends,so questions are cool.
We'll have to work Christmas eve,But I'd be one pissed SOB if I had to work Christmas day. Some things no amount of pay will make up for,and missing the kids on Christmas morning is #1 on that list.

I used to read alot of fantasy stuff, Drangonlance and such. Now that I've become an internet junkie, I do alot of reading on historic events, I just finished spending a few nights in a row reading about the Chernobyl Disaster, what a freakin mess. I just wish I had paid more attention to these things as they were actually hapening!

Stopped in at the LFS to get a small tank for one of the girls at the shop this evening.Well,In addition to her lil tank,I walked out with this:

Looks like you are getting a hang of it. Nice pics!!

I would invest in a tri-pod, if you don't have one.

Thanks Salty.I got a little cheap tri-pod that I use,but I got a better one on my Christmas list.:D

does the new camera have a super macro setting? I find all my best coral pics are coming out on super macro, as for full tank shots or fish, forget it, I still can't take a decent pic

Yote, your shots are terrific! I like that you're trying different things with your camera. That will help make your photography great! Nice, nice, shots.
