Thanks chichi, that goby just loves his monti cap :) he sits there all the time. Usually facing front though, I guess he didn't want his picture taken today lol

So far I am very happy with these lights. I am very happy that I decided to get two of them. One was okay but to have full coverage and no dark shadows you really need two on a 10g in my opinion. The corals colors pop much brighter with these bulbs also. I look forward to my zoas maybe coloring up some more and growing flattered due to the brighter stronger lighting. :)

Not too big. Only 2 or 3 inches. That is a yellow clown goby sitting on it so that can help you judge how big it is being that clown gobies are so small.

How long have you had the cap? And how big was it originally?

Hmm well I fragged it off the cap in my 93 gallon. So I've had it at least 6 months now or longer. The one in my ten gallon has been there maybe a couple months. It was maybe an inch at first. It grows pretty quick once its encrusted onto the rock.

Just a small update. The tank is doing a lot better with two par38s on it. All the zoas are open and happy as can be. I am getting a little algae bloom on the new sand but I figure that's the tank adjusting to the new lighting. Here's some pics

Happy to say that tomorrow at 10:30am 10 types of blue vice zoanthids should be at my door! So excited. With the 10 types I already have and these new ones I will have a nice variety and my tank will truly be a Zoanthid tank!

They are here! They arrived at 10:08am when the tracking said 10:30! The packaging was excellent. All zoos are in good condition except one got a little bit squished but I think it will make it. They did appear more blue in the wysiwyg photo but they prolly took the picture under just actinics. Here are the pics!
