That pink tail reef safe?Are you not worry about it eating your smaller fish?
:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
Not necessarily. As far as triggers go, they are considered Reef Safe-ish. That's why I'm putting in an application for the Risky Tank Club.
If I get a small one, it'll be fine. They grow one to two inches per year. So it will be awhile before he can eat my small fish. If I get a big one, that's another story. The LFS couldn't tell me what size it would be, as it's sort of an unusual request.
It will definitely eat my shrimpies. But I'm willing to sacrifice them in order to have a pink tail in my tank. My crabs, probably also. So I may have to load up on more snails. I don't like hermits anyways.
I'm going to try Doc's approach, keep it well fed, so it isn't hungry enough to go after my other fish. We'll see.
Then again, with my luck, they'll call me and say my fish is in, and it'll be a 16 inch monster, with massive fangs, drooling at the fish in the next tank. I will name him Brutus.
They are supposed to have a really nasty bite. I've been researching them all day before I decided to order myself one. Recommendations are to block them off before you reach your hand it to the tank. Fun!
