Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

I'm curious, how many fish does this make now?

Thats part of the reason why I was going to introduce two Zebrasomas at the same time.Get a purple and tell me how it does with the other two.

20 fish and I can't get past six.
I starting to feel depress again.I think I'll go cry myself to sleep.

That pink tail reef safe? Are you not worry about it eating your smaller fish?

Not necessarily. As far as triggers go, they are considered Reef Safe-ish. That's why I'm putting in an application for the Risky Tank Club.

If I get a small one, it'll be fine. They grow one to two inches per year. So it will be awhile before he can eat my small fish. If I get a big one, that's another story. The LFS couldn't tell me what size it would be, as it's sort of an unusual request.

It will definitely eat my shrimpies. But I'm willing to sacrifice them in order to have a pink tail in my tank. My crabs, probably also. So I may have to load up on more snails. I don't like hermits anyways.

I'm going to try Doc's approach, keep it well fed, so it isn't hungry enough to go after my other fish. We'll see.

Then again, with my luck, they'll call me and say my fish is in, and it'll be a 16 inch monster, with massive fangs, drooling at the fish in the next tank. I will name him Brutus.

They are supposed to have a really nasty bite. I've been researching them all day before I decided to order myself one. Recommendations are to block them off before you reach your hand it to the tank. Fun!

It doesn't sound reef safe-ish to me.They are pretty though. Is this what it suppose to look like.If it is,one sharp ass looking trigger(yes I had to google pink tail)

Hawk got the Bluejaw(which I wanted) and now you have a Pink tail(which I wanted). Now,I'm going to have to find something else.I think,I'll go ahead an get a Cayman, join a reptile forum.

Nigers get 12 inches. I have one in my work tank. with their tail lobes, it is more like 18 inches. they are magnificent creatures but will kick the :pooh: out of Biff's pink tail. they are mean as he!! and tries to bite me any chance he gets. They have boney teeth like no other, and they get red as they get older. Great fish, tho.

Biff, your pink tail does not have a bad bite. The one I killed was 6 inches and he bit me once. No big deal. If he is well fed, he will not touch your shrimp either. My niger lets the skunk cleaners jump all over him.

Reef, if you want something really nice, there is a deep water trigger that is reef safe in my LFS. Call reef runners and he will ship it to you. Tell him Marco sent you. 801-796-5733. Ask for Ryan. it is light blue and eats like a charm. BTW, it is about 3 inches thick and over a foot long. reef safe though.

I'm stoked your getting the trigger. we were going on about how beautiful they were in vegas. and like marco and myself, your taking a risk and I like it :)

we should set up a time to meet there, all four of us. BTW, I never go anywhere in my travels without my wife. She is just like me, except a hot woman...and well, not a smelly (guy thing). That would be fun!

My stupid yellow tang (Tangy) has been mercilessly bullying the sailfin since I added him... And I haven't seen the sailfin all day today. I hope he didn't bite the big one. I'd feel really bad.

I mean, really, come on. 240 gallons of space, and two freakin fish can't leave each other alone?!?!
