180 gallons up in this!!!! NWKRC!

yeah im really excited about the new skimmer its not a commonly used one but it has gotten really good reviews.

I see you're sporting some new facial hair there!

I haven't done a water change in about a month. I've been lazy. Maybe tomorrow, since NDB and I both have the day off, we'll do tank overhaul. Water change, glass cleaning, frag and coral gluing, the whole shebang.

So what fish do you have now, Jack, the koran, the sohal and a goby, right?

yeah I never shaved after vegas..... just trim it when it needs it. its different for sure, but the 'ol lady likes it a lot and I don't think it looks too shabby.

and the fish list was pretty close. jack sohal koran and sixline. I do have the goby, but its in the 80gal with the lavender tang.

yes, but the sixline is in the 180 and the clown goby (pacman) is in the 80 with the tang. and once I get my freakin house they will be replaced with a octopus.

btw...... 3000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! woo hoo!

a while back you did a tour of all your tanks Vid.

New place... no new tour Vid? cmon man we need a Metal ridden tour vid bro!

we will see man. Do you use premiere? I need some editing coaching. and I'm also really emberassed about my tank right now. so much hair algea I could make a turf lawn on my poarch.

so my tank has been going through some hard times, but i have been working really hard on it to turn around the status of it and i will be posting a large update on it soon, in the meatime i just thought i would share this nice pic of my sohal recently named "Amadeus" that i took this morning. (side note - i took this with the camera on my new blackberry curve because it was handy and i am really impressed with the quality of camera on my cell phone!)

Nice execution lionfish

Thanks guys, reeffreak- you got that right.and that's just the tip of the iceburg there are probably 100+ in there They are totally safe to everything except my toadstool leather which is really frustrating because I constantly hand remove them but they reproduce so damn fast. I would get harlequin shrimp, but I fear they will eat my brittle stars too and I don't want that.

I was wondering something?
Do you think the asterinas has something to do with the toady looking bad.I also have a leather that's been looking pretty crappy but I've never seen an asterina on it.My population seems to be consistent,I see several from time to time.

I think that may be possible... Have thought that before but the condition of the toady looks pretty bad like something else. I mean they don't bum rush the coral, I just find them on the coral from time to time ... Well quite often really
