180 gallons up in this!!!! NWKRC!

I do the same thing with my tank. I thaw all my food in a cup then shoot it into the tank using a turkey baster, but I always shoot some on both sides of the tank. The fish on the left usually stay on the left and the fish on the right usually stay on the right. I think that strategy will help.

I'd think that that strategy will greatly reduce your aggression. I try to do the same thing with my much smaller fish because my B/W clown seems to always just get the scraps that my Flame Angel and Midas Blenny leave go and I want him to get some of the bigger pieces as well.

quick update:

well i got rid of the queen angel. im really sorry doc, she was far too aggressive it got to the point where there was never healing time for any of the fish. they were just constantly ripped to sh#t. However i know you will approve of my replacment and will also be ok knowing that i still plan on keeping the Koran till death as a monsterous adult. i cant get rid of having an angel, they are too wonderful. I just had to get rid of the problem. anyways here is the pic! he is still a bit shy, and biff no name yet. also sorry for the bad pic i just had to snap it real quick.

hell yeah, sohal tang, they are mean as shit but i love watching it swim all day. keep an eye on him he will fight with jack even though there is a huge size difference also his blue outline is looking very good

thanks guys. i know i took a big rish going from one agressive fish to another, but i am daring and if it turns out it doesnt work out, at least ill be better for knowledge and stop it before anyone gets killed. then it will be back to the drawing board. but I dont think it will be near the issues that i was having.

i have my sohal in my tank with four other tangs, and my sohal was the first one in which i heard was a horrible idea but all my tangs swim around with each other all day long like a school, its very kool to watch, your sohal should only be aggressive for a day or two and then you should be fine. i dont have any issues at all with mine anymore, once i add a tang in there he will be aggressive towards it for only a day and then he is fine and i never see any aggression after that

WOW..... so my last (recorded) perameter test was november 07. yep NOVEMBER! I know i have done it once or twice since then, but im not sure when. I usually record everything down. Its amazing i have not ran a skimmer for about 2-3 months and my nitrates are still only at 5-10 ppm. now that makes me HAPPY! :^::bounce::^::bounce: I still have terrible algea issues but my sohal is taking care of business all day long (when he is not hiding) he is still shy and still nameless biff. Im amazed at my levels, but i have been doing some frequent water changes and never fear i just spent 500 dollars on a skimmer to get rid of the coralife super skimmer i despise/loathe. so i will be back in the skimming business soon.

here is me finally getting mad scientist for the first time in far far far too long (especially considering the price of my fish)
