Those 2 K4s you see have those eco mod props in them.Which really ups the flow rates.Then there are 2 more non-moded K-4s behind the rock,and one K-3 that was just laying around that I threw in just give it some use.:mrgreen:

The lights made a big difference. Like the bluer look. It makes the tank look mellow. Just by looking at it you get a relaxing feeling.

I have the 48" coralife compacts with reflectors, 2 10,000k(65 watt each), and 2 actinics(65 watt each)...Straight pins.

Glad to hear you're getting it back under control Yote. I have to agree with everyone 14k seems to be the perfect kelvin. I was thinking of doing the eco mod on a couple k4's on my upcoming 90 gal. (self promoting upcoming build thread:mrgreen:) What do you think of the flow with the mods? Does it make a linear flow like the MJ's or turbid flow like a Korilia?

I couldnt wait to start restocking my corals.And after 10 hours at the LFS,I brought home 4 new frags:D Which are acclimating as I type this.I'll post pics as soon as they are in the tank and the lights are on.


Yeah Smitty,your kinda limited on bulb color choices.Maybe its time to up-grade to T-5s. I can make you a heck of deal on a good set:D


Simpleman,The moded K4s give the same wide flow pattern and the stock pump,just pushes more water.I plan to add at least 2 more moded K4s later on.

Hey Yote, I'll let you know when I have the money for an upgrade...Thanks...My lfs told me I could keep everything(even anemones) but sps's under these lights, while I was originally looking at the t5...I should have gone with my first instinct.

Well,2 of em are SPS.But the other 2 are LPS.Kinda decided to go for a little more mixed reef.
