Again sorry about the quality of the pics.

Thanks Smitty.
I added a 2 tone frogspawn last night to.But its still not opened yet.I'm begining to worry about it,sine I've never had a coral to not open within a few minutes.

Yote, The corals look great and I love the elkhorn. My wife wants a galaxea also. Yote I am not the smartest guy out there but, I thought you said you got 4 corals......

Side note, Is the brace in the center of the tank glass? Just a thought. Why not have two new braces cut the same size and place them about 24" apart centered over the tank and silicone them in and then remove the center brace. Would probably void the warrenty but who needs a warrenty anyway. Good luck and if you do it and the tank busts I will never visit this site again.

Looks good Yote. I guess you feel somewhat relieved. ;)
What an elkhorn acro? The only elkhorn I know of is acropora palmata, and that's a protected coral, and not what you have there.
I have elkhorn monti (m.hirisuta) and yours isn't that either.

Capt,All I couold tell is its and acro, and the guy that brought it to the store said it was an elkhorn:dunno: I just think its cool.

Hoops,Naw the brace aint glass.I just got FSK tape on it protect it from the halides.I might have to try your suggestion tho.

Wonderful tank yote. Give it a couple years and ill bet your small reef will grow to a huge reef especially with your great new lights. I love the Atlantic blue too. Always wanted one.

Cool additions Yote!

Curious, your sand getting blown around or are you going with a very shallow sandbed?

I started with close to 1" of sand. But the flow has blown it all over the place, mostly back under the rock.:grumble: But I got a salt bucket full of dry sand that I kept when I broke the 75 down:D

Dont think my new frogspawn is going to make it.Dont know whats up with that unless I pinched the flesh when I was placing it in the tank.

The frogspawn will not open if the flow is too strong, make sure your water movement is less than moderate and not directly onto the coral at anytime. also careful on the lighting acclimation if it was not under mh where it came from. good luck

Thanks for bringing that to my attention John.I flat didnt think about how much flow it was getting.

Yote in my system my Euphylia type corals are in areas that get pretty low flow in comparispon with the rest of the tank. I keep just enough for them to be waving in the current anything stronger and they close up shop. I actually had a total polyp evacuation of a hammer due to too much flow. The hole head jumped off its skeleton.

It may not be, it may just need some time to re-adjust to the new move from the heavy flow..."keep hope alive".
