Smitty's Reef

Wow dude that is cool. Love the light up there.

Oh yeah, you are much braver than I about having carpet. I am always splashing water or making a puddle on my tile. I guess that is what happens when you have 5000 things hooked up to a tank.

I one day want a tank like yours. I actually cannot believe how much stuff is in your tank that when I see these far away shots I forget it is small haha. It looks so cool you forget it is small.

Lol...thanks bro. Whenever I fiddle with the tank, I place a towel on the floor, just in case. I'm happy with the smaller tank, but find myself getting a lil frustrated now when i'm trying to add some more corals, and I've pretty much ran out of space. As much as I miss having a larger tank, I really appreciate the smaller setup because the ease of maintenance and making it look full.

True about that tank size. I really pump out 40 Gal and pump in 40 Gal. Simple for me right now at least, plus I like a lot of fish. Kind of wish I has a fish only tank when I see how many I can't have.

Those Bluejaws are a big deal to me. I just got them Saturday and they are already my new favorites besides my Lieutenant Tang.

I bought this blue pad for water spills and I am too lazy to get it out. I just grab a towel.

I just picked this lil guy up...he's still acclimating.

I love my scooter. He's a blast! Let me know what you feed him. I'm always looking to the best advice on keeping them!

No problem...I'm gonna try a bunch of different things to see what he likes, but so far he's tearing up the thousands of pods I have in my tank.

I don't think my tank has one pod in it.

I have a variety of fish and can never feed one something special because they all eat no matter what input in there.

Hahaha...that's because your fish are some happy lil piggies.

You aren't kidding. The are either chasing each others poo or eating the glass and rocks. I could walk 10 feet away and I feel them staring at me.

The are all tubs hahahaha

My Foxface wil eat a whole cube by himself.

I'm thinking of picking up a mp10 sometime soon, and have been doing some research...my question is, is it really worth it for me to get the wireless, or just stick with the regular wired es version? I really don't see a reason why I need the wireless one but I want you all opinions. Thanks.

But from what I'm reading, the only difference between the two is that the wireless one can communicate with another pump and the radion led fixture...but the wired one can't. I don't plan on upgrading led fixtures or buying another pump, but it'll be a cool option just in case in the future..that's why I'm stumped.

I think the way that the Vortechs and the Radion LEDs can communicate with each other. I think it's incredibly cool that you can set it to have thunderstorms and stuff nd both the lighting and the water movement show that.

That said, it's a huge investment. $750 for a Radion and $230 each for Vortechs (that's if you just get the MP10's) so Idk if it's worth it.

Someday I will have them, though. I think Ecotech Marine is a great company.

Oh and for the wireless thing....I thought Ecotech sold some sort of adapter for like $40 that lets you upgrade the vortech to the wireless stuff if you decide to.

I could be wrong, though.
