Hahaha....told you. :) They are filter feeders who will help reduce dissolved organic matter and nitrates. Congrats :)

very nice! ya it will color up good and grow for you, i had it on the frag rack under the overflow thats why it was a little brown but give it like a week in will jump right back, super fast grower too!

And here is the red monti...it seemed to bleach already, I don't think it transported well yesterday. Hopefully it recovers well.

I hope it recovers, I hate seeing stuff perish. I had to knock the crabs off it a few times, from eating the loose flesh.

I was just observing my tank, and discovered that I have a baby abalone...I know it's a bad pic, but I still had to show some sort of proof.

Looks more like a stomatella to me. If it is, they are great to sit and watch. Especially when they spawn. The will climb to the top of the rock work where there is a lot of flow rise up on their hind foot and start blowing smoke like stuff into the current. Really cool to watch.

Hey Bj, you may be right...I only thought it was an abalone because of the flat shell that curves to the side, and also the shell has several small holes in it like the abalone shell. But it is fast moving like the stomatella.
