Marinne's Reef

I know lol...it can't support a big tank though but the basement could haha

for right now my husband and I are avid outdoors people now that we are back in Montana so we will be gone a lot on the weekends so a smaller tank was the choice for us

the cube is already cycled and everything is running great, loving the In Tank media baskets and AISol...really thinking of upgrading it to the hydra though (I only paid 275 for the Sol so I wouldn't be under if I upgraded)

The Hydra is nice. I've seen it on the 38 cube from Innovative Marine. It did really well for softies and lps mid/bot and great on acros from mid/high. You won't be disappointed with it :)

In time I will get the upgrade...maybe even do the Vega but who knows

got my nitrates down to under 4ppm today with WC's, also got my CUC in from Reef Cleaners and picked up a Fire fish yesterday but he does not like showing his face, still a little freaked out lol

parameters seem good

PH 8.1
Sal 1.025
Calcium 430
KH 9.0
Mag 1360
Nitrates 3-4ppm

I will be ordering a pair of designer clowns next week, not sure which kind yet but 3 fish will prob be it for me then the corals will start coming

Get a pair of Midnights! Exotic-Reefs has a decent selection of different clowns at reasonable prices. That's where you got your last set of Picassos right?

Yes I did and have looked at his selection...really wish he had a pair of naked clowns, not huge on the all black

Check out http://www.randraquatics.com/. They are doing a massive pre-order on designer clownfish. I think they are looking mainly for pick up only.. but I know they ship things. Maybe you could work something out with them? Here's a list of what they can get, and prices are for pairs.
They only do this like 2-3 times a year. And I'm not sure when it ends, so I'd try calling them soon to see.

Not bad but he prob wont ship...I like exotic reefs but not digging his clown selection right now

Wish this town had more of a selection lol

got the corals, acclimated then and dipped them with revive for about 8 minutes, then tried to inspect as much as I could

found and killed a vermitid snail and some bubble algae, otherwise I couldn't see anything but did scrub them down a bit

Also I am loving this coral acclimation mode on the AI Sol...makes it super easy!!!

some pics...my brittle star decided he wanted in on the action
