damit yote you got me
Ok, sounds good. I may have just got a tank, heater and lights. I'll probably end up buying that, then ordering the skimmer and rocks online. Also I'll buy the hydrometer and salt mix and testin kit from petsmart.
Is there any faq's for how to mix the salt water and add it into the tank?
Generally, you'll mix the salt at a 1/2 cup per gallon of fresh water.Put the water in the mixing bucket, add powerhead and plug it in.Then slowly add the required salt.Let that mix for at least 30 minutes, and test specific gravity with the hydrometer. If its below 1.024 add a little more salt.If its over 1.026 then add fresh water.Anything in between 1.024 and 1.026 if good.
Let it mix for at least 8 hours,24 hours is best.
And use either RO/DI or distilled water.
doubt full. but walmart and grocery stores sell distilled water in those big machines usually sitting up front
Better be careful Nudy.
With all that shopping your doing, you might end up buying yourself another tank:D
sounds like a frag tank to me
