Well... it's official.
We had an offer accepted today from a builder on a new home out in the burbs, so I will be moving across town in about 5 months or so. And we may be moving even sooner (to somewhere temporary) if our current home sells.
So this will be the end of d2mini's REAL 130g Rimless Cube. :(
But the good news is this will mean a NEW BUILD will be in the works. :D
It just means starting over from scratch. :grumble:
I already have the spot picked out in the new home. :bounce:
Dining room, against the wall that shares the garage, so all equipment will be out there. Thinking a chiller this time so i can put my sump in the garage as well. So I will have a fish room of sorts out in the garage rather than everything stuffed under the stand. Will just need to work on insulating the garage a bit more than usual to try to keep temps down all summer long. It's 102 degrees again today.
Instead of a cube, this one will most likely be abnormally looooong. Maybe 10 feet. Haven't decided if i'm going to keep it relatively shallow (less than 22") or go taller. Might have cabinetry build around it, giving it a sort of built-in look... not sure. Lots to think about. Gonna try to keep some frags of what I have now, keep my skimmer, brs reactor, vortechs, rkl, my new radion leds. But the tank, stand and most livestock will be sold. Tampa Bay Saltwater will definitely be getting another order from me.
But for now.... the tank goes into maintenance mode and as I told my realtor.... "everything's negotiable!"
