d2mini's REAL 130g Rimless Cube Build Thread

I think the only problem with it is if you end up with too much sucking too much calcium. But I haven't heard of anyone having problems, and in 4 months mine hasn't grown/spread.

It's not bad, unless it starts to affect your calcium levels or other corals. Like any macroalgae, it can also grow out of control, so you need to watch it.

Halimeda grows slowly and isn't aggressive and weedy like caulerpa. I hadn't heard about the calcium thing and macro is good for the ecosystem. That patch of green really sets off the orange of the sponge!

Wow Dennis! Your tank is beautiful!
Thanks! :D

Are your corals doing any better since you've had some die off?
The birdsnest frag stopped turning white and may be starting to come back. I think the leather frag stopped degenerating as well. It too is like half the size of when i got it a week ago. Everything else is fine except for one or two LPS that aren't looking their best but not too bad.

Here's a few shots of some of my Ricordea.
A couple aren't extending like they should be, but most look great.

Dennis, those pics are unreal !!! My rics take turns it seems like, a couple of them extend for a while, then the others do. Strange.

The pics posted earlier of your tank look fantastic Dennis and the ric pics are unreal.

...have I told you I hate you?

This is an absolutely awesome tank. I just started my first one, obviously a lot smaller, but i'm loving it and already have ideas of upgrading size after a month!

thanks for sharing all your hard work :)
