Bob's Ghetto Build!

oh, no problem.....ryan just has me guessing, but this comes from a member of our canadian site who's shop has an inpeccible reputation. not sure how many heads, I'm waiting to hear back, said he was gone till this evening

Yep,dendro and suns are different but they have the same requirements-lots and lots of direct feeding. The good thing about dendros are they tend to stay open even when the lights are on and the larger polyp size.Nice looking group of dendros they have there.

Ok, an update. According to my research, they are different in that they are quite larger, the polyp size on the one I am getting is between 1-2" each. They are non-photosynthetic, so have no lighting requirements. they require feeding, but you do not have to feed each individual polyp. Infact, there are vids on youtube of them opening and closing as one. Finally, they remain open throughout the day, whereas with sun corals they close up most of the day and only open at night. Anyways, I did not pay nearly what you commonly see these things going for. He's a member of our regular chat and is blowing them all out for new stock!

Heres a few pics, I will of course take more as soon as its in my tank

Well, yet another addition! I usually never add fish quickly after each other, but my mother insisted on picking out an early Christmas Gift while she was down here visiting! I can't take a pic cause he's too quick, but he a blonde naso tang, and so far everyone is calling him Santos L. Halper.....

Well, between the chromis, the dendros, and the tang, I should be comfy till after Christmas anyways.....
