Anemones and Corals

In Memoriam
As everybody on this knows site,I love my SPS and my BTA.Well some things happened this past week that made me do some serious thinking about the 2.
I've come to the conclusion that if you like anemones, that they should have their own thank, and should not be kept with corals.
And here is why,These corals were perfectly healthy, had great color and was growing fast.Right up untill the BTA decided it would relocate to the other side of the tank over night.
What left of my purple tip:

This one had neon pink tips with bule/green polyps, key word HAD :

The anemone is no long in my tank.It got sold for $75.00,even though I could have gotten a lot more.Just didnt want it sitting and waitting in my tank any more.

Yote sorry for all the white sticks you got left with, hope for you that there is enough healthy polyps to regen.

That sucks Yote. But with your quality tank, they should grow back in no time. I'm sorry your BTA decided to go for a walk :(.

Thanks y'all.
The 3 white sticks in the pics are a total loss.$270.00 dollars worth right down the drain.
No more anemones in my reef.Of course I might turn the 75 into an anemone tank once I get my new tank up and running.

I'm sorry to hear that Yote. I'd leave them too. Worse case, they will turn purple and encrust with coraline. Other corals in the tank will encrust and grow over them eventually. They might grow back. Ya never know.
