that sera tests kits are worth there price? are they accurate? are they trustworthy? and if not what are your recommendations

i was talking to the owner of my LFS and he said they were some of the best for accuracy, but i come to yall for more opinions. i hope he wasnt just trying to unload un-sellable inventory on me

well my LFS guy has a whole stand and wall stocked full of them and i think thats what they use for there tests. so if there willing to dedicate that kinda money to them then there has to be some good to them right?

Dont they are in the business to make money not friends you will be able to tell more after dealing with them regularly. Ask around about them too.

I still see plenty of LFS where the only skimmers on their shelves are SeaClones and Red Sea Prizms. So just because a LFS carries them doesn't mean they have a good reputation or are good quality.

no he said sera. i believe it is a french company. all there products that the LFS has stocked were made in 07 with an expiration date somewhere in 2012
