Will it fit a 150 tall under 300

Will a 150 gallon Sump L H W 72x27x18 fit under a 300 Gallon 72" x 36" x 63-1/2" stand included
high 72" x 36" x 27" high 72" x 36" tank only?
I am thinking about Marineland Monterey Deep Dimension 300 gallon

Nope...both lengths can't be the same for one to fit inside the other. Your stand will need to be a lil bit longer in order for the sump to slide into it.

How many inches bigger do you thing it would have to be?

It really all depends on how big the inside of the stand is and also if you'll need extra space inside of it for other equipment. I fit a 48" long 55g sump under my 48" 75g display but, I made an 8 foot long stand to fit it and all my equipment inside of it.
