Blue dot grouper. Groupers in general equal really big Fricken tank and no other fish.

What fish is this? If you type in http://www.advancedaquarist.com/2007/1/fish you'll see it. Does anyone know? It's the second one down, could anyone tell me? :)

Giant blue dot Grouper. Those things get massive! And they're not reef safe.
How is a grouper, of any sort, not reef safe? The only thing they do is eat anything and everything. They don't bother corals, just fish and other inverts.

I should have explained it better. By reef safe I meant that they weren't Invert safe or small fish safe.

A reef generally has multiple fish (some small) fish and a plethora of inverts. None of those are safe with a grouper hence not being 'reef safe'
