Want to change from freshwater to marine

Hi everyone,
I have had a freshwater tropical tank for ten years now, but keep finding myself drawn to the marine fish and set ups. I have an Aqua one 850 tank (165 litres) and am looking for any advice I can get about the possibility of converting it to a marine set up, ie what would I need to make the change, the pros and cons of getting second hand equipment or is new best, or is it best to start with everything new.
Any advice would be gratefully received.

Maybe you can explain to me the difference between marine and tropical? Is it basically the difference between a tank with coral and reef safe fish vs no coral and non-reef-safe fish like angels? Sorry I guess I'm confused as to what you are asking :-D
