well my red knoby likes small chunks of redfish from the coast of texas... about once a month i'll stick a little chunk under him, where ever he happens to be in the tank, and he will just center himself over it, and sit there for like 2 days untill its gone, then he goes back to moving all over the tank again...

If in a good size tank and a mature tank(at least a yr old). They should be OK.
