Some type of polyps just not sure

I got these with some other frags they where all white and bleached out and the lfs thought they was gonna die out so I bought the rock they are on for seeding my dry rock since it was in the frag tank. I am just wanting to know what kind they are.

They are Palythoa sp. of some sort, DO heed the warnings when you cut them.

+1 button polyps wear gloves and eye protection when fragging and try not to eat them!:D

I had an Emporer years ago that mowed through some brown ones and wouldn't touch anything else polyp or coral wise. I dunno if that it had something that the angel was lacking in its diet, but it sure took a liking to those brown polyps.

probably, if you put the zoas where they want to be. i have both in my tank. i have a colony with both zoas and buttons growing on it. buttons are crowding out the zoas though
