Some kind of macroalgae?

This thing came a small rock with a couple of zoas growing on it. The zoas didn't do so well, so I removed the rock, then found this guy growing there. Hard to get a good pic. Pinkish purple, and it seems fairly rigid, Its in a good current area and it doesn't even twitch. It looks like it would be easy to remove, but its kinda nice.

Any ideas that might help me figure out what it is?
