ive notice that the stand on my tank is breaking, and im sure ill have to take my tank apart and fix the stand. would it be ok to save the water, sand and the live rock on containers? the process of fixing the stand should take me less than 2 hours, would it be ok to place everything back in the tank after the fix? would the water get ruined?

Yes you can put the sand, rocks and water in a tub. However, i would probably get a totally new stand. The tank will weight around 10lbs per gallon and unless the stand is well constructed, it could collapse causing a disaster

Yeah, it'll be fine to do that. Just make sure you have extra water on hand just in case you need to do a water change afterwards.

Yeah, the blackout did not seem to work. My sps's lost a lil color, but the bryopsis didn't budge. Next, I'm gonna try raising my mag to get rid of it.

Damn that sucks. Bryopsis can be a pain. Just remember to reacclimate the corals to the light.

Yeah, I did Bj. I re-acclimated them for 2-3 days with some plastic screen, removing a layer everyday.
