A 150 would work great Smitty.I'll even suggest to burn a Phoenix 14K bulb in it.

Just put a Phoenix 14K in last weekend and it looks great. I used the stock bulb (which isn't bad) for some months to save some $ but -yeah- the Phoenix looks better and makes corals happy.

hmm I would think the viper would be better. I was gonna buy one but went with the 150 watt w/2 18 watt t-5s from aqua traders. It was $99 and so far hasnt been a problem have had it I guess about 9 months or so.

I'd go w/ the MH since it will give you 5.1 wpg. The Current T5 will only give you 3.3 wpg. The clam especially will appreciate the higher wattage of the MH. Or look at these lights....just something to think about. I have a 36" 6x39w fixture from them and love it! They'll build it anyway you like and package it awesome!

Yeah Baby, I just got my new light...

I also picked up a trumpet coral and a branching hammer...

I just made it home, so the corals are acclimating, so no pics yet.
