Smitty... What's the white stuff on top of the water in this pic I came downstairs to that same stuff on the top of the water... Could see it looking up in to the tank but when I stick my head in the canopy it looks fine...? Can't be that bad otherwise I know you wouldn't have it in your tank lol

It's not bad...it's just proteins and oils, etc. It probably came from floating the bag, me placing my arm in the tank, turning the pump off, etc. You can get rid of it by rippling the water at the surface with a powerhead, and of course, a protein skimmer. If it gets too heavy at the top of your water, some people have tried placing a paper towel on the water surface to remove it also. :)

Oh, and I forgot to mention, I didn't have my protein skimmer actually skimming the top of the water at that time, it was about 3-4 inches below the water surface, I've recently readjusted the intake, so that it could actually remove the film at the top of the water.
