KarlyKorruption

Reefing newb
I want to keep some leather corals and I am afraid that the lighting they will need is to much for the seahorse. If I give the seahorse some cover from the light, how would they be able to hitch on to the leather coral if the corals need to be in the light? I have a 55 gallon tank.

That one would be fine. I used a very similar 4-bulb fixture over my old 55 and was able to keep anything I wanted.

With seahorses, you want to stick with corals that won't sting them. Mushrooms and zoanthids are good choices, and some LPS can be kept with them. Catherine knows a lot more about this than I do, so she'll probably chime in soon!
