Protein skimmer help???????

hey everyone, my pump for my protein skimmer just stopped working last night. So im gonna replace it hopefully tonight or tomorrow. What is a good pump size/brand/gph for my protein skimmer? The skimmer is a......"aquarien technik klaes"(this is what the top of the skimmer says) My boss gave me the skimmer and pump about 4 years ago.....so i guess it was passed due.

Is that the skimmer?

I just did a google search on it and that was the first link that came up.

I followed the link to the manufacturers site from there and it appears shut down.

I would take the pump to the LFS and size it up with a new one. You might be able to find something that will work.

The skimmer does look like that but its not as tall....lol......but yea i will take the pump with me, but the only thing is that i cant find any #'s on it to say what GPH it is or brand name.

You might have to order it on-line. LFS aren't usually the best place for equipment or parts. I'm sure they could order it if they were willing. Good luck.

You will have to match up the new pump as closely as you can to the old pump. What type of labeling does the pump have on it?
