As it turns out, the place had to order my bearings, should be here today, then the pump will be put back together.
Here are a few pics of the tear down.
Cut the glue along the seam
Exposing the inerds. Using an Allen Wrench, take out the bolt in the center
Peel off the sticker
Now unscrew the 3 bolts holding the motor to the plastic case.
You will end up with this. You will need to remove the top plate to get the magnet out of the motor.
Before you proceed any further with the re-assembly, you want to plug it in and make sure it runs properly!
After you are sure it is back together correctly, and working like new, re-glue the front cover (the part that touches the tank) back on. I used superglue gel. Wrap it front to back to hold it in place while the glue drys.
