making the light panel

hello everybody,

Currently, I do not have anything except of the tank, but I am preparing other equipment. I would like to recondition my old light panel for this tank. I looked that the fixture is good for Led lamps. How bright should be the light from them? How to check it before the purchase?

Bump,

It is not so easy, as I thought before. Well, I made a T5 fixture. I wonder can I mount the Led lamps there for better economy or standard fluorescent bulbs? I stopped with these https://www.mrosupply.com/lighting/...ballasts/1854544_flft513w827_fulham-lighting/ How many these bulbs it is recommended for the keeping the corals?

Well, first off.............. what size tank do you have? That will tell you how many bulbs to run over it. What type of corals are you planning on?

The bulbs you have listed are not what I would consider. Look at the ATI bulbs or the Geisman bulbs for your fixture.
