I use aqua illumination LEDs as the sole source of light in my tank, and great results. SPS/LPS doing fine.

Funny thing is one of my kids toys something like this is why I bought my fish tank.
Grant it this was only back in Feb of this year, but it was a 29 fresh that is now a salt and also got the 90 salt for me. Funny how the toys for kids and adults are pretty much the same, except for the money:bounce:

Funny because I like fish and the ocean in general, my wife has registered for a bunch of ocean type toys for our baby.

Haha, should I be out chasing Australian women? Or frag my tank... hrmmm, hard choice. lucky ive got a girl so choice is made hehe.

I wouldnt mind building my own LED system actually, im thinking of doing one for my brothers little tank, because it has PC bulbs, stupid thing.
