Juwel Lido 200

Hi

I have been keeping tropical fish for most of my life and and converted my trigon 190 to marine and kept that for about 3 years then made a big mistake and got rid off it about 2 years ago and got a Juwel vision 450l with tropical fish, have just sold that because it was just too big. I am now looking at going back to salt water and was looking at the juwel lido 200 and was wondering what type of skimmer would be ideal for this size off tank, i had a mce 300 last time.

Just would like some ideas of the equipment that would be good for this tank.

Hi and welcome to LR!

I like to over size the skimmer. It really depends how heavy you plan to stock but over sizing allows you room to grow the tank.

Are you looking for a hang on back or in a sump?

the last time i had a hang on but would not mind trying a sump

Check out the reef octopus skimmers. I have been running the ASM for years and I am fixing to make the switch after seeing some great results from some local reefers.

i love my reef octopus skimmer i have the nwb-150ss they say it takes a week and it was skimming like a champ the second day i had it in and running
