You will once you get older. Funny how these hairstyles come back. Every kid when I was about your age had that same hair. After that is was military cut then to really long rocker hair, then back to short.

That's a good question. I think we as adults think people will respect us more with shorter hair. When we are young we just don't care what adults think.
