How much light does coralline need?

The easiest way to get coralline to grow,is keep calcium between 400 and 450ppm,with an alkalinity from 8 to 12 DKH and magnesium between 1350 to 1450 and the water temp around 78-79.
I didnt have any luck with Purple Up.And I'm really starting to hate coralline algae again anyway.

i could do without coraline too. I love it on the rocks but front glass is a pain

The calcium in my new tank is 400ppm - the temp is down around 73-74. Funny for the first time ever I am starting to hate coralline --its growing everywhere like never before. I have to scrape the glass almost every day. The last month I've kept the temp at precisely 77.
