Getting started--what am I looking at here?

Well I have a canopy, but what I was talking about was what would go between the lights and the water. I guess eggcrate then.

If you have a canopy you shouldn't need another covering. The fish will bounce off the canopy wall and fall back into the tank.

you dont really need anything between the water and the light whether you have a canopy or not but if it gives you more piece of mind then eggcrate will work just fine
