yep, its the strap I am looking into a fix for that, but funds are tight so its not broke just annoying so its on the list :)

nice tank, i have a similar, although not quite as bad, problem with my tank. Don't want to go messing about with the brace bar though in case the floor gets very wet

I will give you some suggestions on placement. All your SPS corals should get the top of the reef. they will grow and color up much better for you.
