I prefer to get frags, although I can afford colonies. To me this hobby is about patience and slow progress. There is nothing more rewarding than watching an acropora frag turn into a beautiful colony over a couple of years. If I were to just go buy fully formed colonies, I would have nothing to look forward to, and no metric to judge my success.

that is how i feel. i like frags and mini colonies
