Umm if your gonna keep corals I think you are gonna need another light. Using the watt per gallon rule( i know its not the best method but it what we have) you would be 2.35 watts per gallon need min 4 watts per gallon for basic corals so at least 260 watts, more would be better.For a 65G tank aprox how many pounds of LR and LS should I use?
The light that came with the tank is a Compact Fluorescent 96W 10k and it uses two of those bulbs Would that be enough to have corals or do I need a more powerful one?
You should put the rocks in first, then sand. You want the rocks resting on the solid bottom. If you do it the other way around, you can have snails and fish dig in the sand, which could shift your rocks and cause a landslide.
Hey guys. I bought the Reef Master Test Kit, it test Calcium, Carbonate Hardness, Phosphate & Nitrate Levels, is there anything else I need to test? Also I should test the water after I had the LR nd LS or before?
