yes thats what they say..he is so funny i will feed the fish and he will all over the tank with his arms up catching any food that get to him..lol...my 2 year old has already named him shrimpy...lol

He is not reef safe. They catch and eat fish.

everything i have read is he is reef safe? he is in a tank with 4 other fish and he hasnt eaten them yet?

Coral banded are Reef Safe (won't eat coral) but are not totally small fish safe (which most reef tanks have) Just keep an eye on him, I have kept half a dozen over the years and have only had an issue with one.
