Would it be to much to ask them to pre-paint it for you since it is a replacement?

Well dcat. I think it was on me to check for leaks before I drilled, painted and set it up! The fact that they are covering the cost of the drilling, and the tank (voided warranty, I am sure!), and delivering it, and taking the leaker away, is awesome! I wouldn't feel right asking about painting it.

Again, I sat on it a year before setting it up. Just plumb forgot to check the tank for leaks...

Here's the standard cabinet with 20 gallon long sump. It was just a hair too big to get in through the top, so I had to tap out the center brace and reinstall it after. Not crazy about the cabinet, but it's black and it's functional. More as it develops!
