dark tank

so i came home the other day and my tank was dark,breaker tripped.When i turned the breaker back on my heater looked like a light show.I took it out and replaced it with a Aqueon pro 150,is this a good heater? I ran up to the closest place to get it due to my tank only being 73 degrees,luckily everything made it.i like the heater so far because it has a green and red light.
