Bubble algae?

I'm really hoping someone says, "no, that's a <whatsamahoosit> and they're really safe", but I have a bad feeling this is bubble algae...I only see one, and it is about the size of a pea...feedback appreciated...

Yep, bubble algae. Harmless and fun to play with ( once out of water) they are like little bouncy balls and I roll them across the floor for the cats. They try eating them and pop in their mouths. Funny for me I guess.

Grab it with your fingers, and gently work it off the rock without popping it. I have had a couple of them that I panicked about too. Thats what I did and they just came off easy as. I did it before it became a huge cluster, single is easy to stay on top off. it has not come back since.

Def don't pop it. They'll release their spores. Eek.
