Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

My lovely trigger looks like a freakin white fish, the ich has spread over its whole body, and it's not as excited about food tonight as usual. Poor polka dotted Tangent... I'm mixing up a batch of krill with mucho garlic and Selcon right now, I'll see if he perks up.

Sorry about that, really no joke. Those triggers are just to pretty.
Hearing stories like this scares the bejeezies out of me.I'm going to pick up some garlic extract tomorrow,I'm feeling paranoid as usual.

I looked over all my other fish, and none of them seem to have it -- I am especially worried about the three tangs and the angel, as those are the most vulnerable. My yellow eyed kole tang has some sort of abrasion on its side, but this fish always seems to have something like that going on with it, ever since I got it. I don't know if it's just clumsy or what, but maybe it accidentally swims into the rocks a lot. Anyways, whatever it is, it doesn't look like ich.

Also, Freak, you said you're going to get a pink tail too... Man, with the 20 fish I had in there already, I was feeding 2 cubes of frozen food once a day. Now, since I added that trigger, I'm up to 6 to 8 cubes per day, depending on how voracious his appetite is. I had no idea he was going to eat this much!!

Oh no,It wasn't the 210 where the trigger is going.I'm going to set the 75 gallon up for a trigger and angel. You know me,I chicken sh!t!So how big is the trigger? My plan is to get a tiny one.

I am going to cave in (of course) and get the pink tail for my tank. I killed one in my work tank about 6 months ago. they are really pretty and aggressive. He will do well in my angel tank. I am hoping he will distract from the Moorish Idol....or kill it. Sorry about your Ich. I will pray a rosary for you.

Hehehe, you know he must be desperate when the Mormon whips out the rosary ;)

Tangent would like to thank all of you for your prayers and well wishes. He wanted me to relay a message to everyone on Living Reefs that has been supporting him during his time of ich: "Thanks to all of you. I know that I can get through this, with your help. Your support and love means everything to me. Now tell my mom to post those pictures of me that she made me pose for last week."

wow, Biff, your psychosis seems to have gotten worse as evidenced by your projecting your overinflated ego onto animals to have conversations with yourself. Are you sure you have been taking your meds ;-)

As for the rosary, I figured you would feel closer to my heart if I used a symbol of religion you were more comfortable with.

The sailfin is holding on. Getting much braver, and is coming out more often. He tends to hide in the same rock all the time, so I've been putting seaweed sheets right in front of the entrance to make sure he gets food. He tends to do so much better when there are lots of other fish around him. I've noticed my pair of tomato clowns "schooling" with him, and when he's surrounded by other fish, the other tangs don't chase him as readily.

On the ich front, it looks like Tangent is doing better this morning.

And coming right up -- finally some pics.

I took these pictures the day that I got the fish (about a week ago). So they were still shy.

Here is Yote the tilefish (RIP), who never got a chance to be properly introduced before his unfortunate demise. This guy was HARD to get a picture of! Oh well, guess I don't have to worry about that anymore!!
