Update! Fedex delivered my Reefer Madness order (22 SPS frags and 22 LPS/ricordea/zoa frags) today! Pictures coming soon! Hold on to your pants. This is gonna be a good one.
Look what was waiting at my front door when I got home!
Let’s get these guys acclimated…
Meanwhile, Petri and Chimichanga assembled the adhesive arsenal:
I didn’t take pictures of all 44 frags. Just most of them .
I got four zoa frags – one with green centers, one with yellow centers, one with brown centers and one with red centers. They didn’t open up in time for their photo op. But you can probably imagine what they look like. If you will please excuse my pruny fingers… It took me three hours to place all these guys in the tank this afternoon.
Now some SPS and LPS. The acros that look white are actually either blue or green. Their true colors just didn’t photograph well. Oh, and I got a really nice pink and purple birdsnest that I forgot to photograph before I set it up in the tank. Sorry .
My favorite, a blue tipped acro. Please don’t die. Please don’t die. Please don’t die.
Those were all from Reefer Madness. I think it was worth it -- a nice variety of species and colors. Except, beware that the "ricordeas" are not all strictly ricordeas. There were some other types of shrooms in there too.
I really like the SPS frags, some of those acros were stunning little guys.I wasn't going to order the mix pack so the rics isn't on my list. Those pics were under room lighting,I bet they would look even better under your lights.
