Biffy Finally Gets a Build Thread!

im going to get a mtn lion to play with your dog fishbait.... then we will see how tough dogs are

he's not that tough, he's half weenie dog and half chiquaha (i know that mispelled) i call him a chaweenie. he's not mean enough to kill a cat. he's just likes to catch them and chew on them. and he's too stupid to quite when he's getting his faced scratched off.

I'd like to try a lion hunt. It'd be cool to call a big mountain lion into 30 yards or less and zipp a rocket tipped easton through him.

you have no idea what a true zoo really is - until you have run your own exotic pet store.... all snakes, lizards and alligators (a few random birds every now and then)

I believe the max for the personal collection I kept in my home at one point in time was:
2 bearded dragons
4 leopard geckos
1 veiled chameleon
4 mountain side striped chameleons
2 amazon tree boas
1 reticulated python
1 yellow anaconda
1 greyband kingsnake
1 red eared slider (turtle)
1 kitty

When you throw in the store I was at 12 hours a day.. that was another 50 or so animals.. including a few alligators (3000 gallon gator pond with 7 on display - 2 of them over 7 feet long and over 200 pounds)

Needless to say... after a few years I burned myself out and now I just have the saltwater tank, dog and kitty. One day I might get back into snakes - but the problem is... the ones that I enjoy happen to be large and aggressive....

I had a 13 foot burmese (normal phase - - 88lbs) for several years, as well as a columbian red-tail. I currently have a california kingsnake and an okatee corn snake. Gotta love them reptiles as well as angelfish!!!

Tuesday's update. Yeah it's a pretty boring one. Sorry ahead of time. Hopefully the news will pick up soon!

This is what 300 lbs of sand looks like on my dining room floor:

And my house really looks like a water factory or something:

I've got those Koralia's pumping full speed ahead. I used Kent Marine salt too. Haven't heard anything bad about it, so I figured I'd give it a try.

Your trying to copy me.Kent salt,Koralias, and Caribbean Direct live sand.I think the Caribbean might piss you off.Its so fine,I can't keep the sand from making dunes.I didn't like the stems either. That package it comes with really makes the water sudsy.Tell what you think after setting it up.Have fun,It looks like you're getting close now.

Well I had a bit of a tank-taster this morning. Woke up to 25 gallons of freshly made saltwater covering the dining room and living room floor. Turns out one of the tubs I had borrowed from my LFS had a leak and overnight it emptied itself out onto the floor. My house was flooded. All the rugs, soaked. Dog bed, soaked. Entertainment center, soaked. EVERYTHING!! The poor kitties were laying on the couches like they were stranded on big blue tropical islands. We tried to sop everything up as well as we could, but it was hard to reach everywhere. Neal is going to rent a steam cleaner tonight to clean all the rugs. What a mess. What a waste!

I would have liked to take pictures (because it was kinda funny too), but Neal was so pissed I think he would have killed me if I was busy whipping the camera out instead of helping to clean.
